| Frisco, A Protest, and, oh yeah, Flugtag |

We came, we saw, we inadvertantly supported peace.
What started out
as a truly brilliant plan to take the BART into San
Fran to attend
Flugtag at Piers 31-32, ended up being ... hectic. It
turns out that
the peace protest also scheduled for the same day in
the same city
flooded up Market street with near 100,000 people,
closing the BART
station we wanted to arrive at, so we were forced to
get off at an
earlier station and make our way to Flugtag. The
Flugtag itself was
also incredibly crowded beyond all compare, and it's a
wonder that
none of us had anything stolen. But in the end we
powerwalked about 4
miles through San Fran and make it back to the car in
one peace, for a
day that went surprisingly well, considering.
